train station tesco express

The train station IS very close , a real bonus for transport. A Tesco Express nearby also made getting essentials straightforward.

The hotel smelled FAINTLY of insecticide , though it wasn't overpowering.

convenient location pool table clean bathroom unhelpful staff slow check in faulty key card

I found the location convenient. it was literally across from the train station. the pool table and dart board were pleasant surprises. I appreciated those touches. the room was solid, and the bathroom was clean.

The new staff are the opposite of helpful unfortunately. check in was very slow with people coming and going around reception. my key card didn't open my door. I needed to go back to reception after midnight to reactivate it.

missing tea bags visible cobwebs

the room only had decaf coffee, and no tea bags were provided (i really needed some caffeine). cobwebs and dust were visible in all the obvious places. the heating seemed to only work in the reception area.

helpful staff good size giant television perfect location

the staff was helpful. they offered assistance with directions. the room was a good size. it included a giant television. i appreciated the mini fridge. the shower was really nice. the bed was comfy too. the location was perfect for the train station. it's right across from it. i could walk to the shopping centre in about 15 minutes.

finding the place was a bit tricky. the instructions weren't clear!

The room was equipped well! I found all the amenities I needed for a short stay. Its location next to the train station proved fantastic. I experienced a warm welcome upon arrival. The reception looked staffed at all times.

The elevator wasn't working, which posed a slight inconvenience, especially with luggage.

friendly staff polite lady accommodating chap room unavailability accepted payment rude woman

The staff were friendly. the lady at the front desk was very nice and polite. i asked for some more milk for my room, and the chap at front desk was very accommodating. I appreciated that. i will definitely stay at this hotel again, it was lovely.

I booked and paid for a room on july 16th, 2024. i was then called and told there were no rooms available. the hotel still accepted my payment. That's not right. i called the hotel the following morning to request a refund, and the woman on reception hung up on me she was rude

convenient location clean bathroom solid bed

i found the location convenient , as it was directly across from the train station. the room itself was decent , and i noted the bathroom was clean. i slept soundly on the solid bed and even enjoyed the communal areas with a pool table and dart board.

the new staff seemed a little slow at check in , and there were many non-employees around the reception area.
